In an effort to foster closer ties between the United Kingdom and India, the UK government has announced the allocation of 3,000 visas to Indian citizens through the India Young Professionals Scheme. The ballot window is set to open from 2:30 pm India Standard Time (IST) on February 20, 2024, and will remain open for a duration of two days until 2:30 pm IST on February 22, 2024. The post emphasises that participation in the ballot provides candidates with a chance to secure a visa under the esteemed India Young Professionals Scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n

With 3,000 places available for the India Young Professionals Scheme visa in 2024, the majority of slots are expected to be allocated during the February ballot. Any remaining spots will subsequently be rolled out in a subsequent ballot scheduled for July. This phased approach ensures a fair and equitable distribution of visas among eligible applicants.<\/span><\/p>\n

To enter the ballot, eligible Indian citizens are required to furnish certain key details, including their name, date of birth, passport particulars, contact information, and email address. Additionally, applicants must ensure they meet the requisite financial, educational, and other eligibility criteria stipulated by the UK government.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the closure of the ballot window, successful entries will be selected at random. The outcomes of the ballot will be communicated to applicants via email within a span of two weeks post the ballot closure.
