The revised regulations are poised to enhance the scope of activities allowed for visa holders.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Key Points of the New Rules:<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Employees of companies with both British and international branches can undertake client work abroad, provided it constitutes a minor part of their overseas responsibilities, is essential for a project or service by their UK branch, and isn&#8217;t directly delivered to a UK client by the overseas employer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While visitors can work remotely from the UK, it is emphasized that remote work should not be the primary reason for their stay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professionals such as scientists, researchers, and academics are permitted to conduct research in the UK. However, academics applying for a 12-month visit visa or extending permission within the country are exempt from this provision.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lawyers are granted the ability to participate in additional activities, including providing advice, acting as an expert witness, participating in legal proceedings, and teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Permitted Paid Engagement (PPE) Visitor route will be integrated into the Standard Visitor route.
