Under this adjustment, the cost of a visit visa to the United Kingdom for stays of less than six months will rise by GBP 15, which is approximately \u20b91,500. Additionally, students applying for a visa from anywhere in the world will see an increase of GBP 127, roughly \u20b912,750. The UK Home Office has clarified that these changes mean that the fee for a visit visa for stays less than six months will now be GBP 115, approximately \u20b911,500, while thevisa fee for applying for a student visa from outside the UK will be GBP 490, which translates to around \u20b950,000.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official website, this fee hike applies to a wide range of visa categories, including fees for visas of durations ranging from up to 6 months to 2, 5, and 10-year visit visas, as well as the majority of fees for entry clearance and certain applications for leave to remain in the UK, such as those for work and study. It also encompasses fees for indefinite leave to enter and remain, health and care visas, fees related to certificates of sponsorship and confirmation of acceptance for studies, as well as applications for registration and naturalization as a British Citizen.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson from the Home Office stated, &#8220;Increasing visa application fees is a fair and necessary step to fund crucial public services and contribute to public sector pay.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Effective October 4th, the new fee structure for UK visas will apply to foreign nationals, including Indians. The cost of UK visas will rise for students, skilled workers, and immigrants. As per the official information, family, settlement, and citizenship visa costs will increase by 20%, while work and visit visa fees will go up by 15%. The immigration health surcharge (IHS) will also see an increase to GBP 1,035 per year.<\/p>\n<p>For students, including child students and dependents, the visa fee will now be GBP 490. However, the UK government has clarified that there will be no increase in visa fees for short-term courses where students study English for more than 6 months but no more than 11 months.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of skilled workers with a certificate sponsorship issued for three years or less, the visa fee will be GBP 719 (approximately \u20b965,000). If the sponsorship certificate is valid for more than three years, the immigration fee will be GBP 1,420, roughly \u20b9129,000.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/visadone.com\/visa\/\"><strong> visa fee<\/strong><\/a> has also been revised for skilled workers in shortage occupations with a certificate of sponsorship for three years or less. They will now pay GBP 551, which equates to nearly \u20b950,351. For those with a sponsorship certificate exceeding three years, the immigration fee will be GBP 1,084 or approximately \u20b999,125.
