What happens after casting a ballot?
Upon submitting an application, those whose entries are chosen at random will be notified two weeks after the poll closes.
While there won’t be a cost to cast a ballot, candidates must pay £298 to apply for a UK mobility visa.
Within ninety days of receiving the email, the applicants must submit their visa applications, pay the required money, which includes the immigration health premium, and produce the biometrics.
Successful entries:
You’ll be allowed to apply for a UK Mobility visa if you win the ballot.
Within 90 days after the email date, you must apply online, provide your biometrics, pay the visa application fee (which includes the immigration health premium), and submit your application.
You are under no obligation to notify us if you successfully pass the ballot but decide not to apply for a visa.
Then what about unsuccessful entries?
The results of the ballot are final. If you don’t succeed, you can’t appeal.
If you are not selected, you may still cast ballots in the future, provided you still match the requirements.
How long can you stay?
Your visa will allow you to stay and work in the UK for a maximum of 24 months.
While your visa is in effect, you are free to enter the UK whenever you choose, as well as to depart and return whenever you like.
You are allowed to remain in the UK for the duration of your visa if you turn 31 after it is issued.
